Three researchers from PGP are in the final for the ERC startup grant (75 % of all finalists in Physical Science from UiO). Congratulations with this first, important achievement Carmen Gaina, Douwe van Hinsebergen and Adriano Mazzini!

Bjørn Jamtveit is elected as a 2012 Geochemical Fellow

The European Association of Geochemistry and the Geochemical Society has elected Bjørn Jamtveit as a 2012 Geochemical Fellow. The Award will be formally presented at the 2012 Goldschmidt Conference in Montreal, Canada, held June 24-29, 2012. The Geochemical society says: "These outstanding scientists join an elite group that comprises less than 0.3% of the current EAG and GS membership. What distinguishes these people? They are dedicated, creative, curious, and excellent teachers, advisors and role models. Every member of the geochemical community benefits in some manner from these men and women." Bjørn is their first Norwegian fellow, congratulations!
